While the mechanisms of wealth acquisition are different, these two are engaging hardcore in the central task of leaders: manipulating the public opinion. They do that insidiously or surreptitiously: it is the side dish of influence.

It does not matter whether they want to save the whales or kill the whales. From the standpoint of the up-and-coming guy you're faced with the same roadblocks. Do you think they're just going to give in and let you have it ?
