1.Feeney never gave away control, not for a second. He just chose to put money into a trust he directed.

2. Most superrich have non-profit foundations. It is a way for them to extend their reach beyond the natural reach of their businesses. Most people do not know this. The only way Feeney differs from other superrich is he lives in a smaller apartment."

3. If you bequeath to your foundation, you can revoke it, put limits on it. Talk to your lawyer for that.
