The last post I had on the ketogenic diet sparked the interest of several readers. So when I went shopping recently I looked for things that follow that diet. (To be clear, I am not on the keto diet currently. I have done IF, and also done multiple-day fasts). My suggestions:

Bulletproof Coffee

Bulletproof.com sells several things, including bulletproof coffee. The add-on to coffee is “one to two tablespoons of grass-fed butter and one serving of Bulletproof Brain Octane oil.”  The coconut oil they use is said to be the best MCT oil out there. From the label: “Uses only C8 -Caprlic Acid, converts to ketones in minutes, no throat burning C6 -Caproic acid.”

Here are some recipes from the same company (I don’t represent them, nor do I get compensated to promote their products)

The Keto Chocolate Shake with Coconut Milk recipe is here.

I recently bought the Paleo Manifesto by John Durant. This is not a new book; it was published in 2013. I will report on it.
