“Hello Max,
I have a bear on my property who’s been quite aggressive lately. I don’t know what to do. My wife can’t stand shotguns (I have one and know how to use it) because she believes you should not use a gun on an animal, no matter how bad he is. This bear is pigging around and destroying everything. Real scumbag of a bear. What’s the best way to take care of the bear?
P.S. I am not a hunter. The forest service will not touch him.”

Hello Luke,
Way to come my way with this thing.
I looked at some sites that specialize in bear hunting, specifically Dailyshooting, which says ” If you are going to use a bow, the ideal shot that you should use would be an arrow that can readily pierce through the lungs of the bear. It is likewise advisable to hit both lungs because bears can definitely run a distance even with only one lung functioning. A precise shot at the lungs of the bear with an arrow can surely drop dead a fierce bear.” As you can see, those that are armed apparently recommend using precise shots to kill the bear fast. But you can’t use a gun, or so you say.
Now, realize the perspective I can give is totally different. My perspective is that of a dog, after all I am a pitbull.
I take the long view: the dog view. The bear is a big animal, way bigger and stronger than you or I.
Quote of the day: “In things having to do with knowledge, we are inundated with masters and disciples. But there are no masters. There are no disciples. There are people who are going to die, the difference being that some realize it and others don’t.” -Brostein
I say, like the dogs that we have in this video, take a shot at him. Quick, sharp, surgical. Non-lethal.
One little arrow, one little bleed at a time.
That’s how dogs fight. They bite, snap. Retreat. Let him bleed.
He comes around next time, hit him again. Quick. Retreat. Unseen. Unheard (don’t bark!)
Next day, same thing again. Don’t wait for him to get close to you, you hit him, then disappear. Buzzkill.
180-degree Turn: from attacked to attacker
To succeed, you must pursue that Bear. Find out where he lives. He must have a nest.
Then become the pursuer. Hunt him.
One little hurt at a time. The bear will run around until he’s wasted.
At some point, on his last breath. Nobody dies of one wound, but of thousands of small wounds.
Sorry if I couldn’t be of more assistance.
-Max
Just poke the bear.
I live in the matrix, I can't solve it.
