This book was gifted to me.
Discipline equals freedom: Field Manual is by a fine man, a veteran, most you know (if you follow my blog): Jocko Willink.
The book is a hardcover printed on fine paper over the black and white pictures of Jocko’s iron workouts. The floor. The sweat. The hand calluses.
Discipline equals freedom: field manual has two parts: Part One is Thoughts. Part Two is Actions, containing three sections: Feeding the machine, Injury prevention and Recovery and the Workouts.
Jocko: “Give the full measure. Make yourself stronger, mentally and physically. Stand and Fight. Fight against weakness. Against fear. Against time and against decay.. FIGHT BACK…
STAND UP. GO FORWARD. “
In the Appendix Workouts, Jocko gives you four Series for Beginners, four for Intermediate and four for the Advanced. They each include Pull, Push, Lift and Squat movements.
Example: In the Beginner series IV, the Lift movements are
“Primary work: 5 mins of handstand holds
Secondary work: arm haulers,
Tertiary work: arm circles, side, front, overhead
Gut: 2 minutes of v-ups,
Metcon: run 400 meters 2 times”
I imagine the part most useful to my readers will be his Road Warrior: Workouts on the road (the last chapter) where he tells what to do when you’re on the road. People working in sales and consultancy find themselves in the situation they’re away from home and the home gym for multiple days perhaps
Like me, Jocko is a fan of martial arts ( he has a BJJ studio) and writes about them as well.
Jocko is great.
Agreed.
Thank you for your review

I will be writing a post on Patreon (obviously paid) about 5 Steps to Insure your digital security in this day.
Considering the severity of this case and others, it’s paramount that you secure your phone with stealth tech, especially if you’re a high profile individual. Encrypted phones are a must, especially when data breaks are all too-common.
Know the punches.
