“Entrepreneurs were 50% more likely to report having a lifetime mental-health condition and reported significantly higher rates of depression, ADD, substance abuse and bipolar disorder than a control group”, citing a 2016 paper by UCSF, UC Berkeley and Stanford University done with 200 subjects.

Some of the folks detailed in the article tried Aderrall, others cooking schools and founding food startups. For others life spiraled out of control, as in the case of Brandon Truaxe . On a lighter scale, people have dealt with overeating and binge-eating.

Some do the right things we often emphasis on this blog: Mark Pincus of Zynga does triathlons, surfing and weekly coaching. Even gratitude journals.

Pushing past the limits in workload means the recovery has to be more diligent and carefully scripted.
