If you’re a reader of this blog, then you know you’re on the best website on the Internet with alpha male content, definition and scenarios. Last weekend, I sat with a friend of mine, another alpha male, discussing the new concept of “sigma males.”

Is there such thing as a sigma male ? WTF is a sigma male ?

Sigma males are supposed to be these introverted types who “refuse to fit into any hierarchical categorization.”

Non-sense.

Hierarchy is not something you determine, or chose to be included or excluded from. So this “sigma” males are “lone wolves”. That’s just being an introvert, thank you. What they’re trying to say -I hope I got this right- is that sigmas don’t have followers, as opposed to alphas who have a lot of followers and lead them. It is assumed, by default, alpha males lead a lot of people…but that requires charisma and mass influence, doesn’t it ? Some people have it, some people don’t. Picking up a sub-category of alphas-those without followers- and naming it “sigmas” is disingenuous.

An alpha male is just that -whether he is leading anyone or not. Are you lacking followers, aren’t recognized by society or your community, and want to call yourself “sigma” ?

You’re either an alpha(2% or less of males) or a beta (98%). This whole thing “sigma” males is ridiculous. Why do you care about recognition, anyways ? Why do you need an audience to your greatness ? Whether a man has witnesses to his being is immaterial. When you are competing with another males – and we all compete one way or another- and you get noticed or not makes no difference.

Sigmas are the introverts who have no standing or human assets to show off, but still wanna be called “alphas”.

Until next time,

Your Man,

Max Cantor

Have you ever heard: “Children are our future” ? You did, didn’t you ? They’ll be saying that same **crap** in twenty years. Can you trust something that moves away from you, and not with you ?

Meanwhile, old people or as we call them “seniors” are shunned and discarded like empty boxes of cigarettes. I have yet to encounter a writer or researcher that writes anything purposefully to embolden senior citizens. Most neurobiologists, for example, are concerned with scaling visible signs of tissue deterioration among the elderly.

How a culture threats the elderly, not the children, is a sign of that culture’s viability.

In other parts of the world, specifically in SE Asia, the elderly are valued and respected. And that makes common sense, does it not ? If someone has traveled farther on the road of life, they withstood more battles. More adversity. But in our modern culture, senior citizens are the subject of butt jokes (and treated like that.)

Wall St. Journal had an article Dec. 12th “https://www.wsj.com/articles/the-loneliest-generation-americans-more-than-ever-are-aging-alone-11544541134

“Loneliness is even worse for longevity than being obese or physically inactive.”

“More than one in four boomers is divorced or never married, census figures show. About one in six lives alone.”

Then pictures of sulky shoulders, overweight bodies or drab faces.

The article later tries to rebalance

“Loneliness and isolation are bad for your health at any age…”

If I was writing advice for 18-year olds, I’d be wasting my time. (they don’t listen to it, plus there’s no advice for young people except do and fall).

Nobody cares about the senior citizens or gives them anything. All people do is take from them. They want them “lonely” and defeated. Until I come into the scene.

10 Senior Rules

1. Make your own bed. Your greatest enemy is comfort.

When your siblings come and try to “do” things for you that you know and could do on your own, they’re not helping you. They’re digging your grave. They’re watching you slip away.

2. If you’re the meal ticket for your sons/daughters, I call that being pimped. Don’t.

3. Loneliness doesn’t exist except in your mind and your conditioning.

Snap out of it. The less people call you, the better.

4. Some people recommend multigenerational housing. I favor alone at home housing.

5. There must be an advantage to aging. It can’t be just wasting away. You have to find out what that is on your own.

Unfortunately, I can’t tell you what it is. I don’t sit around with nature’s keys. You need to earn that answer.

6. Who called it aging ? They did. And they made it a problem for you.

We can’t let other people call and define you.

7. Actually, being old is the same as being young. Compress time.

How do I do that, Max ? WTF, dude. Do what you did 50 years ago…

8. I feel Max is not telling me all.

You and your feelings…

9. Memory = Time = Flaw

10. It’s not how good your memory is, it’s what you’ve become.

Watch this video. This is what an alpha looks like.

Reader Tom writes in an email today:

Yesterday Elon Musk taunted the SEC calling it “Shortsellers Enrichment Commission”.

Today, David Einhorn of Greenlight Capital “Like Lehman, we think the deception is about to catch up to TSLA,” Einhorn said in an investor letter Friday. “Lehman threatened short sellers, refused to raise capital (it even bought back stock), and management publicly suggested it would go private. Months later, shareholders, creditors, employees and the global economy paid a big price when management’s reckless behavior led to bankruptcy.” -via CNBC

Tesla shared dropped 7% thanks to Musk’s tweets.

What are your thoughts?

-Tom

Tom, I don’t know about the future of Tesla (full disclosure: I don’t hold any positions in that company).

I can tell, however, beta male behavior. Beta male behavior is unsettling and, sometimes hidden in what appears to be aggressive, alpha-like stance. It is quite obvious Mr. Musk hasn’t read this blog or else he wouldn’t be writing those tweets.

#Number 1. Twitter is not the place to address critics, ongoing legal issues and such.

#Number 2. Twitter is not the place to impress your girlfriend. In fact, only beta males work hard at impressing their girlfriends. A high value male is a constant target of women’s manipulation. Their hypergamy instincts shoot through the roof especially especially if the target is a public figure. I don’t know if you went through this blog yet, but we hold dear here the model of Christopher Walken. He’s composed at all times, even when he is theatrical. He is an what I call a “class act.”

#Number 3. If the shorts are bothering him, at least don’t show it. Or show it with humor, i.e. post a picture of dirty shorts or something.

Quote of the day: “Often I have found that liars do this: they watch their dupes closely, searching for the moment when belief sets in.” -Hadrian Marlowe in Empire of Silence by Christopher Ruocchio

#Number 4. At the end of this year, we will be having a “contest” of who’s the world worst beta male of this year. Last year we had “Who are the world’s worst villains.” (Littlefinger of the Game of Thrones won that one). So last year we pulled from both real life and fiction. We”ll see what we do this year if we just stick with real life characters.

Thanks for writing.

Tips for the wise and free:

1. Sam Harris releases recently a meditation app structured as a course. It already received great reviews.

2. A behemoth book called Interview with the Masters, A company to Mastery by Robert Greene, released in 2013, is free on Amazon. You may wish to get that one.
