Meanwhile here, we continue on the journey of self-development…10 years later. aren’t you glad you stuck around ?
The post 475 posts, 10 years first appeared on Wall Street Financier: Notes from High Altitude©.]]>Syding’s latest newsletter post, How the World Work, is very rich in theosophical and existential treaties. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Obviously, I can’t reproduce it here, but he’s keen on *meetings* being the core of everything and consciousness, not matter or time, is what defines existence. [I spoke about the non-existence of time already back in 2019]. Karl-Mikhael Syding ends up signing his newsletter with the title “Aspiring Sheng-Jen”. According to the Oxford dictionary, a Sheng Jen is in China, one who hears the way of Heaven (Tʾien) and develops understanding, often translated as ‘sage’. Sheng-jen is therefore the ideal wise person who penetrates the hidden meaning of all things and lives accordingly.”
This year, I brought to your attention the Indian mystic Sadhguru . I hope you’ve read my book review of his latest book weeks earlier, and that contemporary mystic Sadhguru has inspired you.
In the beginning was a field…Syding says. Not the Big Bang. What happens is human mind can only perceive snapshots, beginnings and ends, labels. These are our limitations. Past, future. Snapshots of the human mind.
I see this “field” as emanating from the present. The future is made now…and so is the past. Poor human snapshots of reality the mind of the common folk is unable to grasp. The Universe is marching towards its end as well as towards its “beginning” concurrently, because there is no “beginning” or “end” to begin with.

I won’t bother you with more details of these libations since most of us are more concerned with the price of meat going up by 9% this year but remember: these are your future leaders.
They ask that you don’t call them “fats cats”. “Slurpy cats” ?
To the futures Chairmen and Chairwomen of Goldman Sachs, I will tip my hat ! And get that venture capital money for your app-for-hangovers ready, people !

Becoming a member at these clubs might take some time. Zero Bond [a 22,000 square foot private membership club in the heart of Noho] relies heavily on recommendations from current members in adding to its membership roll. Mr. Sartiano declined to say how many members he has but said Zero Bond has about 8,000 members on its waiting list.
NeueHouse earns about 35% of its revenue from membership fees, with the rest coming from brand partnerships, private events and its restaurants and bars, according to Chief Executive Josh Wyatt.

I wanted you to know that here we are fully supportive of the LGBT Community and inclusive of all: non-binary and X-gender. Perhaps one of the most notable trends seen in the last decade is the increase in the “non-binary” and “genderfluid” population while the gay population stayed relatively constant, around 6%. “Hijras” are officially recognized as third gender in countries in the Indian subcontinent, being considered neither completely male nor female. “Hijras have a recorded history in the Indian subcontinent from antiquity as suggested by the Kama Sutra.” (Wikipedia). Years ago I very briefly mentioned here that the Angels, at least the Christian concept of them, are androgynous. Gender identity in “genderfluid” as well as sexual preference (two different things) can change throughout life. We don’t really know how many men are bisexual (“men might believe they’ll suffer a higher social cost for identifying as bisexual”) but we do know a huge percentage of women identify as bisexual (25% of young black women in the U.S. and 10.1% of white women in the U.S., according to the Conversation). These percentages will only increase.
We are aware that the marriage rates are falling, in fact in the U.S. the marriage rate is the lowest in at least 150 years. We consider marriage to be an outdated institution, and monogamy to be a myth. Men and women living together don’t just get bored, they were not meant to live together. Lock a cat and a mouse together and see what happens. The marriage rate should still be falling and get into a trough from which it will not recover. Most years-long marriages are marriages of convenience where the parties are anything but happy.
I believe sex is the basis, the only basis, for a healthy relationship between adults: a man and a woman, a man and a man, a woman and a woman -their choice. The hierarchy that is emerging is as ancient as the foraging primates order: it is centered around sexual ability and functionality. The younger women in their prime will have their “harems” and should not be precluded from exercising their options, and the men who are in their “prime” -knowing fully their peak extends beyond their ’30s, ’40s, and for some into their ’50s -will have theirs. I surmise they’ll be fewer women’s harems -not because they won’t have enough sign-ups, but simply because women are less sexual than men. Women have considerably less desire, need and proclivity for sex than men do. They’ll be quite a few gay and X-gender harems I imagine.
What makes a woman attractive ? Is it just looks ? It probably is, even though your household media machine is saying otherwise. What makes a man attractive ? Is it just looks ? It probably isn’t, even though your household media machine is faltering again with crap like romance and “sensitivity”.
We reject the [false] construct of growing old together.
We see better outcomes from men forging companionship with other men -younger men- as they grow into old age. Likewise, better outcomes for the women who stay close to other women (younger than themselves) as they grow into old age. Men are their Tribe. Women are another. Again, keep in mind there isn’t much keeping men and women together other than sex.
Over investment in kids is possibly the biggest obstacle to self-development, and that investment rarely lasts for only 18 years (if anyone here has 18 years to waste away, let us know). Generational wealth is an engine for wealth inequality as well as economic waste (guy who’s got it all won’t be working as hard as the father and grandfather did). But what about my kids ? Think of children ! No kidding. How about children will be children and have a 24-hour kindergarden, then 24-hour school…etc. Kids belong with the kids. Kids should be spending more time with their own anyway. That’s their Tribe. Yes, but they’re helpless. They’re helpless until about 6- 7 years old. About the time women feel the need to get rid of their old man. If you haven’t exited by then, if you’re still married…joke’s on you.
Until next time,
Your Man,

The post Statement from Max Cantor first appeared on Wall Street Financier: Notes from High Altitude©.]]>I’ve already talked about the mistake of underestimating the economic disastrous effects of the quarantine, the second (economic) curve which IS NOT an epidemiological curve (the one that follows the spread of the virus). So this is not what we are going to be talking about today.
If you’re laughing at “energy signatures”, nuclear medicine is a field based on “energy signatures”.
After all, we humans, have infected and arguably are at the point of destroying the Earth. Some will say humanity is the worst infection on Earth that ever was. [not that I necessarily agree with that]. From outer space, modern civilization even looks like a cancer spread out over this planet…
[suggested reading: Rats are New-Yorkers, too.]
From that perspective, we are only fighting our future selves. We are always fighting ourselves.
Some people say thoughts are a form of energy. But they can’t elaborate on it. We’ll leave it at that.
If the virus could talk, it wouldn’t overpower the hosts. (Why self-destroy ?)
The virus wants to find a new host, the host fights it, and…
If you didn’t have something that it wants, the virus wouldn’t be banging at your door. Simple logic just scares people out of their wits. I wonder why any scientists haven’t studied the original animals who had passed on the virus (pangolins, bats or whatever). See what kind of a deal have those bats cut with the virus.
All things, including humans, have a certain vibration. Your geniuses at Harvard even mapped it out.
What makes for a hospitable host ? Inhospitable host ?
Are you “syncing up” with the virus ? [Side read: The Hippies were right: It’s all about vibration, Man , Tam Hunt, Dec. 5, 2018]
But that’s for another time.

“For instance, the religious figures may be different — a Christian would see Christian figures, a Buddhist would see Buddhist figures, Hindu gods and goddesses would appear in a Hindu’s N.D.E., and so forth…”
J. M. Fischer
J.M. fisher, who is a Professor of Philosophy at the University of California, Riverside concludes:
“Most N.D.E.s depict a journey toward an imagined guarded realm, but not a successful passage to it. Just as in the literature on living forever, such as the ancient “Epic of Gilgamesh” or myth of Tantalus or the quixotic search for the Fountain of Youth, we come ever so close, but in the end we don’t quite make it. In N.D.E.s we get right to the gates, but we don’t go through; we get right to the edge of the universe, but we stop there.”
I have never had a N.D.E. Here is what I think about them:
3. I agree with the conclusion of many who say you relive your entire life in seconds or milliseconds., smashing the idea there is something as time.
4. The N.D.E.s are not life as we know it, but they are not death either, something Professor Fisher goes along with.
5. The Akashic Records may well be a valid thing. How do you access them: there’s no simple answer to give.
6. To answer the question, “What is Consciousness” we can start by asking: what is not consciousness ? Consciousness is not mind…
7. As Richard Kelley says in his interview, Is there a God is a rather moot point.
8. What’s the reason for being here ? “It’s just part of the drama. If we saw everything that we’re doing, we would know we’re not here.” – Richard Kelley
9. “While you were doing doing the dream, you had no idea it was a dream. Same thing here. It’s the other way around.” -RK
10. To find “peace” without going through a N.D.E. you can start by accepting that your life is a movie already produced, script and stuff, scene-by-scene, take-by-take. Watch it as the spectator in the theater seat. You will find yourself in the spectator seat sooner or later. Think about it: if you accept there is a God, isn’t God [already] the one watching your movie from his seat ? Probably got his Cola and popcorn, too…
The post Opinion: Near-Death Experiences first appeared on Wall Street Financier: Notes from High Altitude©.]]>It is time that someone wrote a real guide not only for the men working in the investment industry but for all men who aren’t jokers. I mean, you can listen to the Joker (Boris Brejcha) which I do even in this post. But don’t make your life a caricature. So this list was born. There aren’t 99 Rules in this list, but we’d like to aim for a good-measure number (69 would do it).
In the past decade, marriage has has become the rawest, worst deal for men in America and the West altogether. Marriage is an outdated institution with laws giving women the upper hand, no man with some self-esteem should walk that dark alley. (70% of divorces are initiated by women, and that number climbs higher, to 90% for college-educated women).
Not worth it !
You can fill in the blanks…from __, ___.__
You will stand out if you don’t drink at a party.
Your girlfriend must know where you come from.
You’re slowly descending into mediocrity and you know it, what do you do ? The clock is running: tick-tock-tick. Your pal suggests you try a threesome…should you ? Would you ? Yes. Threesomes are in. MFF. Three is a magic number. There are three in the Holy Scripture. “Friends, Romans, Countrymen” -three in William Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar. Mind, body and spirit -three.
You give it a treat when he behaves and withdraw attention when he misbehaves. For more info, make sure you get your BOU (The “Alpha Male Bible” ).What does is look to be at the top of your game ?
Your own time away from everybody. As you get older and wiser, so do the “unreachable” times are getting larger.
Women know this instinctively, as demonstrated by their propensity to pursue taken men. A man that’s taken -married or not- is seen more attractive to them than a single man.
Well, if you’re married, say: “Tell that to my wife”, then hand over your phone to the boss. If you’re not married, say: “It’s not easy being green.”
So this happened: the new decade swooped in… and we have to make it to 69. Let’s get some more music in before we do that…
Did you write that on your office whiteboard yet ?
And by sampling I don’t mean food, I mean flings. I’ve had flings hailing from 18 different nations and four continents. To some that’s a low diversity number. Well, put me to shame. As far as I can tell, the farther they are from your original ethnicity, the more interesting things can get. Hop on the diversity bandwagon.
Sometimes Cads become Dads. These are the sad bunch. Score +1 Women to -1 Men. Very rarely do Dads become Cads. Women really hate that.
41. The most useful text message in the book of texting:
They key here is to send this texting sequence hours apart…It make the hamster go full 5200 rpm.
What are you sad about, then ?
Ah, what about crocodile tears, I heard… Did you get a lighter and threaten to burn up her shoes ? Are you telling me those tears aren’t real ?
Both men and women know that instinctively.
Examples: A pretty woman will, in all likelihood, cheat. A smart person..will cheat. That doesn’t mean that ugly ones and dumb people don’t cheat, however.
Women see their SMV (Sexual Market Value) plummet as they age (around 35 although some say is even earlier) while men’s, generally speaking, is on an upswing.
The geniuses who have daughters plus half of China are now going to think they fall under the “attractive” category. Don’t hold your breath.
Also, drop the monogamy garbage to the site curb where it belongs.
Both men and women agree to it or they feign disagreement.
It is mostly the women who have everything…
And put out some Lady Gaga lyrics:
“I can’t wait to smoke them all
Whole pack like Marlboro
Blow it in your face, blow it in your face
Blow it in your, blow it in your face
I can’t wait to rev you up
Faster than you can say Ferrari
Tearin’ up the gravel, watch you unravel
Now it’s a party…” -Source: Lady Gaga, A-Yo song, Joanna album
Their fallout is inevitable because beauty is perishable. That’s why we don’t invest in beauty with marriage.
You: What are you thinking ? Her: This, that.
You: Good, because I don’t have you thinking about my crotch all the time.
Few will understand this. Is that hamster splitting atoms by now ?
With the abundance of geniuses who are also triathletes and meditators, rowers and God-knows-what, it’s become extremely difficult to stand out. Fortunately you have the backhanded compliments.

And there’s nothing you or I can do about it. Or should. And it does not matter who is in charge, whether conservatives or liberals lead the nation, whether Trump stays on or we get a Democrat President next term.
The reasons behind this phenomena, whether it is momentum to blame for it, bureaucracies, they don’t interest me. You may have read through this recent Wall Street Journal article, Democrats’ Emerging Tax Idea: Look Beyond Income, Target Wealth as well as older articles, for example this one from the L.A. Times, Policies helping the rich get richer and the poor poorer, report says. Or better yet, read this book, The Collapse of Complex Societies by Joseph Tainter (1988).
I firmly believe in that trend, and again, it matters not who comes to govern and what policies they adopt. Good news, bad news ?
I was sitting at a bar recently sipping a drink, and I noticed the drink coaster: Is it better to be rich or stupid ? Interesting choice, I thought. So many people are both…these two are not exclusive…Well, I don’t envy “the rich”, at least those that I know who are richer that I they’re not smarter than me.
The same needs drive the rich and the poor. Well, to some extent. The poor don’t really do much virtue-signalling, perhaps because they worry about living paycheck-to-paycheck too much. Rich folk live for the next excitement, the next experience…what do I live for, I thought.
Same thing. Or better. Better be careful when I get advice from the rich…where they don’t have their livelihoods at stake. Note to self: the *rich* don’t think of themselves rich, they’re just out there making the world a better place. Sort of what I do.
Except I make myself a better man. Well, enough of this non-sense about the rich and the poor and let’s to the meat of it.
“Power isn’t just having choices. Power is being able to decide whether you must choose at all. You can have your husband and little family -and your lover in the tower. And you can extend your authority, and have your word obeyed.” – Edell Vrai
Star Wars: The Lost Tribe of the Sith
Let’s ask these questions, then:
1. How much control do you have over your choices ?
2. Are your *choices* made by other people ?
3. How important are other people in your life ? (perhaps this question should have come before, at number two), and,
4. Out of your choices and decisions, how often you hit the bullseye, because if you don’t hit it often, you need to become a better shooter. (I refer here to bullseye as the right choice long term).
Now, that is something to work with.
